CHINATOWN, KUALA LUMPUR
Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia is a special market to shopping. All tourists must go there. The original Chinatown of KL was established during the British colonial days in the Petaling Street area as a settlement site for the Chinese community in KL. For years the area maintains much of its traditional atmosphere, with a Buddhist temple and shops selling incense, gems, traditional medicines as well as famous Chinese eateries.

CENTRAL MARKET
Central Market, a cultural shopping center, is the best place to witness Malaysian culture. A variety of goods are sold here, including handicrafts, souvenirs and art, all at reasonable prices. Amidst the stalls selling souvenirs are small outlets where Malaysian artists display their works. Visitors may even have their portrait painted or order custom-made crafts. Just outside Central Market is a riverside amphitheater, a venue for traditional dance displays, wayang kulit (shadow puppet shows) and more contemporary entertainment.
